SMS Program & Text Message Consent

Program name: Slate Financial Application Updates. Slate Financial LLC is a commercial funding company at https://www.slatefinancial.io, Palm Coast, FL 32137. This page describes our text messaging program in full.

What this program is

This is a transactional customer-care program. We text business owners who submitted a funding application or pre-qualification request on our own website, and we text them only about their own file: application status, the documents we still need, links to sign or upload on their own secure file page, appointment confirmations and reminders with their advisor, and replies to questions they text us.

We do not send promotional, marketing, advertising, lead-generation, affiliate, or offer messages through this program. We do not message anyone who did not personally give us their number on our own website. We do not buy, rent, or import phone lists, and we never send on behalf of another company.

How you opt in

Consent is collected on our own web forms at slatefinancial.io (the pre-qualification form on the home page and the application form at /apply). The applicant enters their own mobile number and checks a box that is unchecked by default and is not required to submit the form. This is the exact wording of that checkbox:

I agree to receive text messages (SMS) from Slate Financial about my application, document requests, scheduling, and account updates at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.

Consent to receive texts is never a condition of applying, of receiving a quote, or of purchasing anything. An applicant who leaves the box unchecked still gets a full review of their file — we simply reach them by email and phone instead.

Message types and samples

Document request: “Slate Financial: Hi Maria — to finish your working capital file we still need your August bank statement. Upload here: slatefinancial.io/b/xxxx Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
Application status update: “Slate Financial: Your file is with the underwriter and we expect a decision today. Nothing needed from you right now. Reply STOP to opt out.”
Appointment confirmation: “Slate Financial: Confirming your call with David tomorrow at 2:00 PM ET. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
Reply to a question you texted us: “Slate Financial: Yes — a personal tax return is only needed if the lender asks for it. I'll let you know either way. Reply STOP to opt out.”

Frequency, rates, and carriers

Message frequency varies with the activity on your file — typically one to four messages over the life of an application. Message and data rates may apply.Carriers (including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to stop (STOP) and how to get help (HELP)

Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time. We will send one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages. Reply HELP(or INFO) for assistance and you will receive: “Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg&Data Rates May Apply.”

Your mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
